Who I Am

Hello everybody,

My name is Conor Manley and I'm over half way through my undergraduate college experience, which scares, and yet, excites me for what is to come next. As for what is to come, I can only pretend that any perception from my imagination will be anywhere close to the unavoidable future that is in store for me. Until then, I can only attempt to steer the direction by trying my best not to waste any potential that has been graciously supplied to me by everyone that I have come into contact with, and for that, I am oh so grateful. I do not have my heart set on any one thing, but that I may experience it all. I hope to apply for graduate school and also apply to the private sector, and also travel the world before my youth runs out. I currently am majoring in chemical engineering and I haven't regretted my decision once. I've grown up in the small towns of Waterford and White Lake, MI. In retrospect, my childhood was by no means interesting, but to me, my curiosity was well satisfied and I couldn't ask for a more supportive family, especially my sister, who goes to Illinois Tech in Chicago (I miss you, Shea). As of right now, I am a beach volleyball fanatic and in the winter I am an indoor volleyball fanatic. I started learning the guitar, which is equally addicting, and I am about to start dance lessons. I work out daily and my health is king in my life. Something that is interesting about me is that I'm the president of a fraternity, which was not planned when I came here to Michigan but has been one of the best experiences of my life thus far.

For more to come,
Conor
