Hi everyone, my name's Edmund Qiao and I'm from Troy, MI, a suburb of Detroit. I've lived there all my life before moving to Ann Arbor to start college.
Right now, I'm in the LSA Honors college and I intend on majoring in Anthropology. I'm pre-med right now, so I plan on attending medical school right after undergrad, but I may take a gap year to continue doing research. I'm not sure what specialty I would want to pursue as a physician, and I may consider an M.D./Ph.D. route.
When I'm not studying, I'm usually just hanging out with friends. We like to lift at the gym, play group games like ghost, or just jam. I've played hockey all my life as well, and I'm trying to find time this summer to go play drop-in hockey at the cube sometime. Other than that, I recently picked up longboarding and love to ride around at night these days.
As far as most interesting fact, I can't say this is the most interesting, but last summer I handed out free milk in downtown Birmingham,MI to strangers.
