I grew up in a middle-class suburban neighborhood around the city of Troy, Michigan. There, I received a majority of my schooling through the Avondale school district. Now at the University of Michigan, I intend to major in Computer Engineering but my career aspirations lie in the medical field. I plan to apply to MD/Ph.D programs near the end of my four years here.
As for hobbies, I enjoy web application development, musical instruments, and various athletic activities such as volleyball, swimming, and tennis. I am also an aspiring cook, and if I have time in the future I hope to open a small restaurant.
An interesting thing about me is that I am a licensed EMT in the state of Michigan and Indiana.
