Hi everyone. I'm Bethany Daniel and I am from South Lyon, Michigan. This fall, I am going to be a sophomore here at the University of Michigan.
I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring either in German or an International Minor. I am not quite sure yet what I want to do after graduating, perhaps do a masters or go into business school.
I enjoy doing a lot of things in my free time. Most of the things I enjoy doing involve the outdoors. One of my favorite things to do is horseback riding. I grew up around horses, since my neighbor is a farmer, who buys and sells horses. As kids growing up, my sisters and I would always go over to his place and ride. I am actually on the Equestrian Team here at U of M and love every minute of it! Besides this, I also love other sports, such as swimming, basketball, and volleyball, and so many other activities that I can't write them all down -- watching movies, exploring new places, doing stuff with my family...
One interesting thing about me is that I have a HUGE dog. He is a Great Dane, which we named Big Ben. Big Ben (BB for short) is more than half my height and I'm tall!! He seriously could eat from our dining table . . . if we would really want his buckets of drool all over the table ;) I love going for a run, a bicycle ride with him, and wrestling with him. He has huge paws that he bats at you while wrestling.
