What, So What?, Now What?

I saw a lot of students working together in order to accomplish a task. Many groups were shy at first, but the activities quickly shed it away. The service event was very different then what I expected. First of all, I thought we would be focused more an making bikes then group activities, and I didn't think I would enjoy waking up so early to make bikes. But, after meeting new faces and being really active during the activities made me enjoy it. I liked meeting new people, getting to know what research they were doing for the summer and where they were from. I didn't like how we made so little bikes. I learned a lot from my group members. They were all interesting people, here to do what they enjoy and very committed about. I guess I could apply the team effort that is needed to accomplish different tasks like how many of the activities needed a group effort. If I would do the group activities again, I wouldn't do anything very differently. I think we worked well as a group.
