What? So What? Now What?

The community service event allowed me to see a variety of interactions. We were able to get to know the other members of our smaller groups as well as interact with everyone else participating. I actually thought going into the event, we would be having direct interaction with the people the event was supposed to benefit. However, when I got there, I was surprised when I found out the actual events for the day. I learned about all the different people that are participating in research this summer and all the places they are coming from, not just U of M. The event was a good way to practice communication and working in a group, which can be useful in my research. Overall, I thought it was a good event, and a good way to start of the summer program.
