Hi everyone, my name is Dulce Rios. I will be a new transfer student here this fall coming from Grand Rapids Community College. I am originally from Oaxaca, Mexico and grew up in Grand Rapids, Mi. I participated in UROP last summer as part of CCSFP. I am currently continuing the research I began last summer which deals with "observing" black holes. I hope to earn my degree in Astrophysics and eventually obtain a Ph.D in the field as well.
I have a variety of interests in a large range of topics however my main interests are space, music, and art. I play flute and am currently learning piano and guitar.
Something interesting about me is that my full name literally translates to "sweet daisy rivers."
