Hi, I'm Sonalee Joshi. I spent most of my life in Troy, Michigan, and lived in Mexico City for a few years when I was was a kid. I hope this doesn't sound too much like a bad Match.com profile... I just finished my first year at the University of Michigan and I intend to declare a major in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (say that five times fast) with a Sweetland Minor in Writing. I'm pretty sure my career aspirations change every five minutes, but currently, I wish to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and neuroscience and hope to become a clinical psychologist. Other than long walks on the beach and sunsets (kidding), I enjoy drawing, writing, painting, reading, biking, tennis, politics, and photography. I'd like to think I'm just an unusual and unique person in general, but I suppose a particularly interesting thing about me (if you haven't guessed from my interests and hobbies) is that I am an artist, and I am fascinated with the idea of merging art and science. I look forward to getting to know you all, and learning more about the world of research!
