Welcome Back,
Well recently we had a community service event in which our task was to build bikes for some kids in the area, though that was not all we had to
do. The twist was we had to pass team challenges, to receive the
parts and tools to create the bike.
During the Community Service event I observed a lot of
teamwork and relationship building. The
teams were composed of students from all walks of life; we had students from
all over the country and a few international students. This was a great experience
because I had fun while meeting new people and learning about cultures I have
never been exposed to. Looking back I wish I had reached out to more people and
learn more about their culture.
