Workshop Reflection

The Career Development 101 workshop was a good reminder of what goes on in the job hunting/recruitment process. It was also good to prepare an elevator pitch to see how I viewed myself in that moment. The Writing Academic Articles and Getting Published workshop was helpful because it put my current work in perspective. I now have a better grasp for the areas I should pursue publication and presentations. It was also helpful to be reminded of the different spheres of research, and the commitment it takes to progress in research disciplines.
